David Nika studied Social Sciences (B.A.) as well as Science and Society (M.A.) at Leibniz Universität Hannover. During his master's studies he worked as a student assistant at the junior research group "Mobility oft he highly skilled" from October 2021. Since September 2022 he works as a researcher and doctoral candidate in the research area "Educational Careers and Graduate Employment" in the Student Life Cycle (SLC).
